Writing for welling: meeting the shadow
About
This workshop invites participants to use writing as a supportive and caring practice for meeting complex or challenging experiences. Through a gentle, playful, and curious approach, participants are encouraged to write about feelings, questions, memories, or life experiences that are often left unspoken — without any expectation to analyse, resolve, or fix them.A series of body-based writing exercises draws on felt sense, imagination, and personal storytelling, allowing sensitive material to be approached with care and at each person’s own pace. Writing becomes a way to notice, name, and make room for what is present, while staying grounded and supported.
The session centres on compassion, honesty, and self-care, offering writing as a steady and nourishing practice that supports wellbeing and inner balance.
Suitable for all levels of writing experience, this workshop provides a respectful and supportive space to explore depth with gentleness and curiosity.
A $10 contribution for catering is requested for this session.
