Join us at Capers for the launch of bestselling, award-winning Cypriot-Australian poet Koraly Dimitriadis's fourth poetry collection, That's What They Do. The book will be launched by lawyer, mediator and lead singer/ songwriter/musician of Suldusk, Emily (Amalia) Highfield, who will play a few acoustic songs in English and Greek, and will then join Koraly in-conversation after she performs a set of her trailblazing poetry.That's What They Do is an empowering collection of poetry about emotional abuse and violence against women. It features poetry about the different ways a person can experience emotional abuse (family, work, friends, governments, society) and rising above it. It features poetry about the Tom Silvagni case that went viral amassing 200,000 views, and also poetry about Koraly's experience of being backlisted and bullied in the Australian arts sector.
