Advocacy Workshop for Victorian Bicultural Workers Network (SOLD OUT)
About
This training provides a practical introduction to advocacy for people working in community. It explores what advocacy is, why it matters, and how to do effectively when working alongside individuals and communities experiencing disadvantage. Using real-world examples, the session looks at different types of advocacy — from supporting individuals and groups to speak up for their needs, to working for change at a service, system, or policy level.Grounded in frontline experience, the training is designed to build confidence, practical skills, and a clear understanding of how advocacy can be part of everyday practice.
