An hour of Irish and Scottish whisky history and storytelling, presented in an educational and engaging manner. Guests will enjoy a guided comparative tasting of 10mls each of six whiskies, including American, Irish and Australian expressions, along with three Scotch whiskies, offering a broad and balanced introduction.The Whisky Appreciation Event explores the history, craft, and enjoyment of whisky from around the world. This approximately, one-hour experience delves into the differences between each whisky, how whisky is made, and the international and regional traditions that influence its style and character.
You’ll learn how to taste whisky properly, identify key aromas and flavours, and discover food pairings that enhance the experience. Presented in an engaging, educational, and storytelling style, the session focuses on the cultural and historical significance of whisky rather than alcohol consumption, making it suitable for both newcomers and enthusiasts.
