The Noisy Johnnies Keeping Australian Rock Live
About
The Australia Day Long Weekend has for more than 50 years been a celebration of Australian music. In 1970, Ourimbah was Australia’s first-ever large-scale music festival where 10,000 fans saw Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs on the long weekend. Then came Sunbury, Narara, The Big Day Out, Tamworth, Local and Live, Rainbow Serpent Festivals and Triple J Hottest 100. It is a great weekend to pay tribute and acknowledge the achievements of Australian rock and the musicians who make it.The Noisy Johnnies will perform our tribute to Australian Rock on Saturday, 24 January 2026, at Lucky 13 Garage. We pay Australia Day honours to the songs of Midnight Oil, Paul Kelly, Bill Thorpe, INXS, The Angels, Hoodoo Gurus, The Models, AC/DC, Mondo Rock, Men at Work, Cold Chisel, Sunny Boys, Psuedo Echo, Hunters and Collectors, The Models, Jet, Icehouse, The Church, Choirboys, Russell Morris, The Easybeats, Little River Band, The Living End, Dragon, Screaming Jets, The Black Sorrows, The Saints and more. Tickets $20 online ($25 at the door).
