2026-3 Introduction to weaving with Liz Perry
Learn to weave with Liz Perry. These classes will give you an introduction to the workings of the loom, preparing a warp, and weaving four shaft weave structures by producing a sampler. Guidance will then be given to develop an individual project using the techniques learned. Classes are relaxed and informal. Participants can hire a table loom from Canberra Spinners and Weavers to take home and weave independently in between sessions. You can use your own table loom if it is suitable.
Runs 4 days 9:30am to 4pm: 28 February (Sat), 1 March (Sun), 8 March (Sun) and 15 March (Sun)
Looms can be hired from CSW for a period of 3 months @ $45/month, ($150 refundable deposit) or you can use your own table loom if it is suitable (check with tutors).
