iPERFORM LAB and THE YARD GYM TERRIGAL are excited to launch LIFT LAB this January - a practical, hands-on strength training workshop for youth athletes.This workshop is designed to build confidence, teach correct technique, and provide a safe and supportive entry point into the gym environment. Participants will learn the fundamentals that will help set them up for long-term performance, injury reduction, and positive training habits.
What we will cover:

Warm-up structure - Safe progression - Why strength supports sport & reduces injury risk
✔ Technique Fundamentals
Squat - Hinge - Push - Pull - Brace - Landing mechanics
✔ Body Awareness & Control
Alignment, balance, coordination & movement confidence
✔ Gym Confidence & Environment
Equipment use - Safety & etiquette - Moving confidently in a gym setting
