Poetry in Motion
About
Felt with a poetic translation we will bring poetry to life. Allowing our body to cultivate its unique artistry and finding expressions to awaken the words, we will use the Soul Motion movement practice as the foundation for exploration.
To begin we will re-construct a community poem using a very unique and artistic process developed by Soul Motion master teacher Winky Wheeler. This will lead us into the second half of our journey together where we will move the mystery and magic of these words with music and ritual. We will end with some yummy chai and afternoon tea to celebrate and acknowledge our creative time together.
With dance, play and curiosity we will explore alone and together how we move and can be moved by poetry. Everyone welcome and no dance or poetry experience needed. This is a held and facilitated afternoon.
