Точно определить жанр пьесы «Отель двух миров» сложно – она всё время балансирует между комедией и трагедией. Действие в ней развёртывается в каком-то странном, похожем на недорогой отель месте, где всё неясно: как туда попадают, как оттуда можно уйти, куда везёт находящийся в холле отеля странный лифт. Там возможно всё: боль исчезает, привычные правила не действуют, а загадочный Доктор С. даёт минимум объяснений...Главный герой пьесы, Жюльен Поталь, попав в этот «отель», встречает прежде незнакомых людей, размышляет о жизни и смерти, а главное учится любить. Поэтому с полным основанием можно сказать, что эта пьеса - пронзительный рассказ о любви. О любви и о свободе нашего выбора.
Спектакль посвящается дню всех влюблённых - Дню Св. Валентина.
Хочется верить, что он никого не оставит равнодушным.
It's difficult to pinpoint the genre of the play "Hotel of Two Worlds" – it constantly teeters between comedy and tragedy. The action unfolds in a strange place, reminiscent of a budget hotel, where everything is unclear: how to get in, how to leave, and where the strange elevator in the hotel lobby takes you. There, anything is possible: pain disappears, familiar rules don't apply, and the mysterious Doctor S. offers minimal explanations...
The play's protagonist, Julien Potal, finds himself in this "hotel," meeting previously unknown people, reflecting on life and death, and, most importantly, learning to love. Therefore, it's fair to say that this play is a poignant story about love. About love and about the freedom of our choice.
The play is dedicated to Valentine's Day.
