Starfish Nippers 6th Annual Carnival - Williamstown

The Starfish Nippers Program at Williamstown Swimming and Life Saving Club continues to grow each year. This modified program has been designed for young people (ages 6 and upwards) with autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit disorder, global developmental delay, Down Syndrome and a wide variety of other medical and intellectual challenges and learning difficulties.Starfish Nippers aims to provide water and beach safety and awareness through beach exercise, water familiarisation and safety education.
The Starfish Nippers Program and and the Annual Starfish Nippers Carnival is run entirely by volunteers. The Starfish Nippers Annual Carnival ensures that participants with disabilities and their parents and/or guardians can be involved with surf skills and lifesaving like their siblings, friends, and others on the beach.
Presentations and a family BBQ will be held in the Clubrooms at the conclusion of the Carnival. Please advise any special dietary requirements when booking.
