Fresh from the launch of their 2nd single on 14 February—following the global success of their first release How The Caged Bird Sings—the band debuts at Carnegie Hall to keep the momentum blazing. This afternoon show invites audiences to come prepared to engage, bring a bite to enjoy, and ease into a soulful warm-up before the band’s powerful double-set showcase.
Opening the event is their dear friend and acclaimed bluesman Dan Dinnan, delivering a solo set of swampy harmonica, raw delta-blues guitar, and his unmistakable vocals. Drawing from his own releases, Dan sets the tone with deep-rooted tradition and grit.
Then, Kaliopi & the Blues Messengers take the stage with two concert sets to engage and uplift you with their award-winning modern blues—steeped in delta soul, Chicago grit, and cinematic storytelling.
