At the Senior Medical Association Sunshine Coast (SMAsC - pronounced SMAC!) our vision is to create a vibrant Senior Medical Officer (SMO) community that fosters meaningful connections, enhances wellbeing, and advocates for SMO rights and professional development within the SCHHS.This united group will amplify the collective voice of the SMO network, enabling them to deliver exceptional healthcare, drive positive change and ultimately improve patient outcomes across the Sunshine Coast.
Connection lies at the heart of SMAsC. We envision a society where SMO's from diverse specialities comes together, fostering a sense of camaraderie and mutual support. By facilitating meaningful and regular interactions, we aim to create a trusted network of peers who can share experiences, exchange ideas, and support each other through the unique challenges they face. Through strong connections, we believe that SMAsC can cultivate a sense of belonging and reinforce the collective drive to advance healthcare practice and deliver exceptional patient centred care.
