ALS Certification 2 Day Program 2026

Description
This two-day Adult Advanced Life Support (Advanced Responder) Certification program is for Registered Nurses who wish to be upskilled in the provision of Adult Advanced Life Support in a clinical setting. The program runs over two days with Certification for both BLS and Adult ALS (Advanced Responder). Based on ANZCOR Guidelines, the program incorporates theory, clinical skill stations and scenarios.
Including:
• Basic Life Support Algorithm
• Advanced Life Support Algorithm
• ABCDE, Airway, BLS & safe Defib Skills Stations
• Rapid sequence COACHED
• Intraosseous Skills Station
• Rhythm Identification
• Prioritisation, Communication & Graded Assertiveness
• Reversible Causes: Assessment & Management
• Post Resuscitation Care
Prerequisite: Completion of the Adult ALS Learning Package & the pre-quiz.
Completion of the Teleflex EZ-IO online course. Access instructions will be emailed to you prior to the ALS course.
A total of 24 CPD hours are assigned to this program, based on 16 hours of program contact, plus 8 hours of self-directed pre-reading learning & online quiz.
