About
This workshop is suitable for ALL clinicians
Trainer: Dr Sue Byrne | Senior Clincial Psychologist | WAEDOCS
Join us for a transformative 2-day Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Workshop (CBT-E) deisgned to equip clinicians with advanced skills in the gold standard treatment for eating disorders. The workshop endorsed by the National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC) can be used towards your application to become a credentialled eating disorder clinician.
This interactive training offers a comprehensive introduction to CBT-E, a transdiagnostic manualised, and structured approach that can be tailored to treat a wide range of adult eating disorders. Participants will gain practical, hands-on experience in applying the four stages of CBT-E, including techniques to engage clients effectively, facilitate early behaviour change and address recovery. Led by a WAEDOCS experienced clinician, the workshop incoporates role plays, case discussion and evidence-based strategies to support clinical implementation.
This workshop is suitable for psychologists, dietitians, social workers, mental health professionals and private practice clinicians seeking to master CBT-E and enhance outcomes for clients with eating disorders. Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of eating disorders and CBT prior to attendance.
