About

ANT Academy aims to be a vibrant, God-centred community where learning happens. We meet fortnightly on Wednesdays in Karrinyup for homeschooled kids (Kindy and upwards).

We plan by semester, with fortnight classes each term, for a total of 20 sessions a year. We offer fun classes for all ages, and ask that each family keeps the goal of community in mind, as community can only happen when others commit to making it happen!

Dependent on numbers, children will be split into 2 or 3 groups based on ages (e.g. 4-7, 8-11, 12-17) and rotate through the classes. There is a short devotion before we start any classes and a morning tea break.

Parents are encouraged to build their own community while classes are on, and we offer tea and coffee in the main hall for parents to chat.

There is also a playground for younger siblings to play on, or a grassy area for running, under parental supervision.

There are group guidelines you will need to read and agree to (main ones below.) Your payment is agreeing to those rules (T&C on receipt)

- Parents are required to be ON premise, but do not need to be in the classroom.
- Only children enrolled in the class are able to participate in the class.
- Be kind, courteous & respectful
- No refunds (this is NOT a business, funds paid to teachers are based on children enrolled per term, whether they attend or not)
- All parents to help set up/pack-up as required
- Please note: this is a Christian-run group. All parents must agree to uphold those values.

TOPICS in SEMESTER ONE:
Hands-On Science (all ages) with the amazing Dr Rina Fu
Creative Writing (all ages) with beautiful Merylena Sulak.
Ukulele (8+) and Music (all ages) with passionate Amy Frost.
INCURSION at END OF SEMESTER: Drumming Group

TERM 1 2026: 4th Feb, 18th Feb, 4th March, 18th March, 1st April
TERM 2 2026: 6th May, 20th May, 3rd June, 17th June, 1st July

~ Semester Two Topics ~
Ukulele (8+) and Music (all ages) with Amy Frost.
Theatre skills, play writing & props with Merylena Sulak.
3rd subject TBC
END OF YEAR PLAY in December with performances by all students followed by delicious morning tea.

TERM FEES
Please keep in mind that Term Fees cover:
- The expertise of 3 professional teachers
- Incursions (we try to cover most of the cost if we can!)
