Please join us for a relaxing and fun day exploring our Northern Villages and connecting with village community groups from our Northern Villages.This gentle day trip combines gardens, wildlife, and community connection:
From 9am - Pickup from your village or suitable location (if you wish to drive yourself, please let me know).
10:30 AM – 11:45 AM: Yerrinbool Railway Community Garden
We begin the day with a gentle workshop and tour of the beautiful Yerrinbool Community Garden, lovingly cared for by local volunteers. Wander through native herb and flower beds, learn about sustainable gardening and enjoy a delicious morning tea together in this welcoming community space
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Australian Wildlife Sanctuary
Next, we’ll head to the Australian Wildlife Sanctuary in Bargo – a heritage-listed sanctuary set on picturesque grounds where you can meet and learn about iconic native animals like emus, wombats, wallabies and more in a relaxed, educational setting. The Sanctuary is maintained by passionate volunteers and offers engaging wildlife encounters that are fun and memorable.
1:15 PM – 2:45 PM: Bargo Sports Club
We’ll enjoy a hearty lunch and afternoon tea at the Bargo Sports Club — a great chance to relax, chat and share stories with friends.
3:00 PM: Depart and return to your village.
Morning tea, lunch and transportation is included.
