Inspiring indie/folk singer-songwriter Peter Vadiveloo has been captivating audiences worldwide for over 30 years. Known for his distinctive combination of folk, roots, funk and blues, Peter’s songs head-on address social justice, politics and environment issues.
In August 2025, Peter completed his first solo tour of the UK, receiving rave reviews and invitations to return. In 2023, his song ‘Manus’ won a bronze medal at the Global Music Awards. In 2024, he played to enthralled audiences at Woodford Folk Festival, Australia’s largest music festival (approx. 100,000 people).
Peter’s diverse musical background spans rock, pop, jazz, funk, blues, opera, comedy cabaret and flamenco, creating a dynamic live performance. His commanding vocals, high-level guitar skills and percussion mastery come together to engage audiences in a way few artists can.
Either solo or with his bands, Peter has played literally hundreds of shows at countless festivals Australia and overseas.
