Blackmans Bay Edible Garden Trail 2026 (SOLD OUT)
About
Hooray! Come and spend time in some beautiful, productive gardens on Sunday February 22nd at the fourth Blackmans Bay Edible Garden Trail.
This will be a day to explore and find inspiration from edible gardens of all kinds in our bayside suburb. We have young and old vegetable patches, overflowing verges, experimental exotics and gardens that embrace the chaos of kids and animals.
Important Information- please read prior to purchase.
Gardens will be open from 10am til 12.45pm on Sunday the 22nd of February. At 1pm you are invited to a Community Garden Party for a BYO picnic, where Garden Gate prizes will be drawn! Plants! Seeds! and more!
Closer to the day you will be emailed with a digital map and to be given a 'starting' garden- we ask that you try to start at the garden we suggest in order to spread out the number of attendees at the beginning of the day (none of the gardens can hold 200 people at once!) After visiting the first garden, you can plan your route from there.
All gardens are non-smoking areas. All children must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Be considerate of private spaces and neighbours. Please don’t bring your pets along. Some gardens have their own dogs who might be present, please let the host know if you would like them to be put on a lead while you are in their garden.
The Blackmans Bay Edible Garden trail is hosted by the Blackmans Bay Community Association with the aim of bringing our community closer together and building resilience.
We are grateful to Meg Webb MLC, Sustainable Living in Kingborough, Plantago Permaculture, Unpacked Wholefoods, Veggie Garden Seeds, Kick and Screen, Redbreast Plants and Clennett's Mitre 10, for their generous support of this event.
