Join saxophonist Jason Ji for his debut solo recital, an evening that showcases the expressive range, colour, and versatility of the saxophone. This program features music by Philip Sparke, a cornerstone of the English band tradition; the late Toshio Mashima; French classics by Jacques Ibert and Fernande Decruck; and the Australian premieres of works by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Cait Nishimura.Accompanied by pianist Po Goh, this debut recital promises an engaging and memorable musical experience for both seasoned concert-goers and new listeners alike.
