This ½ day workshop is suitable for all clinicians collaborating with people living with an eating disorder.
After a huge success in 2025, Jullie Dillon Duffy returns to WAEDOCS to part 2 training on PCOS.
People with PCOS deserve so much more than the standard advice: 'Here's birth control pills, cut out carbs, and come back when you are trying to get pregnant.' After 25 years helping people with PCOS and eating disorders, Julie Duffy Dillon has unlocked how to use medical nutrition therapy to help people with PCOS without more harm. Learn advanced PCOS strategies including how to recommend the right supplements and when to focus on food. Understand how PCOS changes in midlife and beyond and medical nutrition therapy to assist with the expected changes. Gain positive body image counseling skills adapted for people with PCOS. About Julie
Julie Duffy Dillon is a seasoned Registered Dietitian Nutritionist trained as a Mental Health Counselor. She holds a dietetics degree from Ohio University (1998), a counseling masters degree from University of North Carolina at Greensboro (2004), and a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist and Consultant. Her 25+ year career extends through clinical inpatient medical nutrition therapy, diabetes education, pediatrics, university lecturer, business owner, and author. Julie teaches in classrooms and on international stages helping consumers and professionals better understand the complicated history we have with food. She specializes in how to weave in health promotion with chronic diseases including polycystic ovary syndrome, diabetes, and insulin resistance. IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO NOTE PRIOR TO REGISTERING
This presentation will be held as a live event and a recording of the workshop will be available for purchase for those unable to attend live training.
A minimum number of clinicians need to register for this workshop to run. This workshop will go ahead unless we notify you otherwise (once registrations have closed). If the minimum number is not been met, you will receive a refund for the workshop fee only (i.e. $100.00). Try Booking will charge a small administrative fee which the attendee will bare the cost for. Thanks for your understanding with this.
You will receive information about the workshop directly after booking and 1 week prior to the workshop including the MS Teams link to connect (if this is your choosen way to attend this workshop). Please ensure that the email address you use to register for this workshop is current and is checked regularly.
For those unable to attend live training, we will be offering the option to purchase a recording of the workshop. If you are choosing this option, you will still need to register and purchase a 'ticket' prior to registrations for this workshop closing. Once the workshop has been delivered, a link to a secure viewng platform will be emailed to you. Please allow 2 - 3 weeks from the live session date for the recording to be made available. You will have access to the recording until the end 2026. NOTE: The recording is not to be shared with anyone. Please ensure the email address you register with is one that is current and checked regularly.
By purchasing a ticket to attend live training, you agree that the workshop will be recorded and that the recording will be made available to clinicians who have choosen to purchase a recording of the workshop.
