Strengthening relationships with your child's care team
Building strong connections with your child’s medical and care network
Parents and carers raising children with disability aged 0-18 years are invited to join Kiind online for our last session of Virtual MyTime this term!
There will be times throughout your child’s life when you need to step in and advocate on their behalf. As a parent or carer of a child with a disability, you know your child best. By learning to advocate for both yourself and your child, you can ensure the best outcomes for your family.
This session will be facilitated by Kiind and joined by guest speaker, Rachel Callander. Rachel will be sharing her own lived experience to help parents and carers understand how to build positive relationships with service providers and your child's medical team.
The session will focus on self-advocacy, making the most out of appointments with your child’s treating and therapy teams, and how to cultivate a relationship of mutual respect.
Come along to our last session of the term!
