Community Film Screening: Gaza Surf Club

You are warmly invited to come along to a community film screening of Gaza Surf Club at Blue Heelers Square, Geraldton on Monday 19 January from 7.00pm. The bar will be open from 7:00pm aiming for a 7:40pm movie start. Please note this film is PG with English subtitles and will be viewed in an outdoor setting. BYO rug, snacks and drinks (unfortuately the bar will not be open this time).Gaza Surf Club offers insight into the lives of the Palestinian surfing community and their connection to the sea, as well as the ongoing struggles of living under a military occupation.
We are screening this film to fundraise for medical and humanitarian aid for Palestine and to raise awareness about the challenges of attempting to surf (and live) under Israeli military occupation in Gaza.
This event is ticketed with all proceeds raised from the $15 ticket going to Perth Doctors Medical Aid for Palestine.
