Van Walker is a prolific and celebrated songwriter in the genres of folk, blues, country and rock. A 'cult figure' in his adopted home of Victoria, with a vast catalogue of poetic lyricdriven material that explore a range of personal and social themes. Van and his band The Ferriters have been described as "one of the best acts on the Irish-Australian scene". Van continues to receive critical acclaim forhis contributions to the industry. With his Band the Ferriters – (Van - acoustic guitar and lead vox, Seamus Hoare - bass & harmonica, Maree Dertien - accordion, Greg Field - violin & mandolin) Van will put on an amazing show.
