Preparing for Postpartum

This half day Sunday workshop is designed for women and their partners in their third trimester who want to prepare for a supported, nourishing, and healing postpartum.Rather than focusing on birth, this workshop centres what happens afterwards; how the body recovers, why support makes a tangible difference, and the vital role partners play in protecting the healing space.
Chinese medicine principles underpin the workshop throughout, presented in a way that is practical, accessible, and partner inclusive without overwhelm or too much “woo”.
Facilitated by Chinese Medicine-informed Postpartum Practitioner Kunang Sutra Agung, alongside Ben Waters, Doctor of Chinese Medicine. Together, they bring clinical experience, cultural knowledge, and lived postpartum experience as parents of four children between them. Offering a grounded approach to postpartum care that supports both mothers and partners through one of the most significant transitions in life.
