Connections - A Nature based Healing workshop

Connections - A Nature based Healing workshop

About

This workshop will meet monthly on a Saturday morning, outside in a local park, provided it won't be raining or high wind. All locations will be in Melbourne’s North East, and South Eastern Suburbs.

In this workshop we will sit and receive as I guide the group through a healing meditation where we will deepen our connection to the Earth below us, and ourselves, reconnecting us back to the parts of ourselves and the Earth we've been disconnected from, or simply out of sync with. We will also be giving back by doing some land healing, guided by the land.

I have found that the places we choose to step, walk, live and be all have an impact on us. It’s often really subtle and we don’t usually notice unless we stop and pay attention. You’ve noticed at times how some places have energies we want to avoid and get away from as quickly as possible, and others feel so good. The land we choose to step, walk, work, and live on has the ability to calm, relax, heal and support us, and it can subtly trigger and activate things within us as well. There are opportunities to heal what a place is subtly bringing up for us, and also assist with healing the place itself. I will be choosing locations for this meditation where we can use this opportunity to benefit all.

This two hour workshop will start with a brief sharing, then move to a guided healing meditation, one part of which will include a healing for ourselves, one part of which we will be actively doing some land healing. It will finish with a sharing of our experiences.

Please dress appropriately, bring hats, sunscreen, water, and bring chairs or picnic rugs and whatever you will need to be comfortable. Unless otherwise stated, there will be toilet facilities onsite. Open to anyone 15yrs+. Not suitable for those with younger kids in need of supervision.

Cost AUD$40, $35 Concession/Seniors

About this Healing Meditation:

The purpose of this healing meditation is to help us connect more deeply to the Earth, and ourselves, and strengthen and develop those connections.

Some of the Benefits of this Healing Meditation:

Grounding: Being more connected and present in our physical bodies while connected and rooted more deeply to the Earth, which improves our ability to listen both to others, and our own selves, our needs and our intuition.

Safety: Being more connected and rooted to the Earth allows a greater sense of flow in our daily lives, helping us to be exactly where we need to be, when we need to be there, and for some this provides a greater sense of safety and protection.
We will also be working to clear triggers and feelings around not wanting to be in our bodies, on this Earth, or feeling like an outsider on this planet, to help us feel more connected, and at home during our time here.

Improved Rhythms: This healing meditation will connect us more deeply into both the Earth’s rhythms, it’s seasons and changes, and our own rhythms, and syncing the two more closely. This could lead to improved sleep, digestion, and adjusted routines to allow a healthier happier lifestyle.

Land Healing: In this monthly group session, we will also be doing some land healing. No prior experience necessary, I will be guiding the group through some active participation. The healing will start out easy and will develop and deepen as the months go by and the healing needs of the parks increase in complexity.

I will not be choosing locations that are haunted, severely traumatized or dangerous, rather safe locations in nature that have some healing qualities and could also use a bit of gentle energetic healing and support as well as guided by the land.

If you’d like to become more involved in Earth and Land healing, these monthly gatherings are for you.
