What can we expect from 2026? Where are we heading—individually and collectively—and what are the promises and shadows of the Fire element?
In this talk and discussion, Zhao Liu (Kevin) will explain why 2026 is known as the Year of the Fire Horse in Chinese traditional astrology and explore its deeper symbolic and psychological significance. Drawing on both traditional wisdom and modern perspectives, the session will examine the nature of alchemical fire and how we might consciously relate to its transformative power during this pivotal year.
The talk will be followed by a group discussion, inviting reflection on personal responsibility, inner transformation, and collective direction. Participants are encouraged to explore what role they may be called to play in this critical period of change.
Zhao Liu (Kevin) is from China and holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Peking University. He has worked extensively with the human body and mind, weaving together scientific understanding and traditional wisdom. With a Jungian lens developed in Australia, he has also completed a one-year I Ching training program with teachers from the Jungian group in China.
This session is suitable for anyone interested in Chinese astrology, Jungian psychology, Eastern philosophy, or reflective dialogue on the year ahead. No prior knowledge is required.
