Phil Hatton's ManhattonsDoors open at 1:15pm
When a young lad, Phil Hatton was enthralled and inspired by the album ‘Hot Tracks’ recorded by the Ray Brown/Herb Ellis Sextet. On this occasion the Manhattons Sextet will be playing several of the tunes from that album plus some original tunes and arrangements in the same vein. This will be a swinging session of mainstream jazz played by some of Perth’s finest musicians in the genre. Kim Anning guitar, Mike Wiese clarinet and saxophones, Phil Hatton clarinet, flute and saxophones, Tony Celiberti piano, Manoli Vouyoucalos bass and Nathan Winterflood drums.
