Course: Book Illustration – Picture Books
About
Ellen Palmer Hubble, a local and popular artist, has published multiple picture books featuring her own illustrations.
Ellen will help you to learn how to create your own picture book for children, grandchildren or simply for yourself as a kid at heart.
The course will be an introduction to book illustration with the aim to complete your own 16-20 page picture book.
The course runs as a half day per week for 15 weeks.
Tuition in:
• Illustration materials and techniques
• Writing, storyline, editing.
• Character focus and development
• Layout, design, typeface and mock-ups.
• Illustration development
• Pre-publication presentation (Please note: Computer skills and programs will not be part of the course)
