GSOV has great pleasure in presenting three comic operettas for your enjoyment in 2026:

1. The Arcadians, 22 March @ 2pm - BOOKING CLOSED
An Edwardian comic opera hit and the My Fair Lady of its day! A London restaurateur crash lands his plane in Arcadia and is transformed from a wicked man to a guileless youth by the innocent rural idyll of the locals. Horrified by the idea of city life, the magical Arcadians travel to London to convert the miserable city-dwellers.

2. Patience, 18 & 19 July @ 2pm
Featuring Sullivan’s most beautiful music, in the sixth collaboration - and the funniest - Gilbert satirises the Victorian obsession with aesthetics. The rapturous maidens of the village seek beauty and perfect artistic expression and spurn their confused military suitors. Meanwhile, two poets are in love with Patience, the village milkmaid, but she cares nothing for poetry! How will this romantic connundrum resolve sweetly?

3. A G&S Christmas Carol, 12 & 13 December @ 2pm
The Australian premier of this playful adaptation of Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol with musical gems from the Gilbert & Sullivan operas, and clever new lyrics from Gayden Wren (Entertainment Editor, New York Times.)

Light refreshments available at all shows (donations welcome).

Prices and Discounts

• Buy TWO shows for a discount of 15% off full priced tickets for $93
• Purchasers of 2 or 3 shows may also change their dates without penalty.

The Three Show Offer is no longer available to new purchasers, it consisted of:

• a discount of 18% off full priced tickets ($135 for three shows);
• a free programme per pair for each show (worth $30), and
• seats in the premium reserved area in the front rows of the town hall.

• Make your subscription selection/s and type in the number of tickets you want for each selection.
• Your choice is '2 Shows - Patience AND Christmas Carol'
• Click NEXT to select your preferred dates.

Notes

• The 2 show option is available until July 12
• Please ensure you complete every empty box or you won't be able to continue.
• Look carefully at the Seating Request question and select everything you and your party will need. 
• If you need a Companion seat, please call after booking. 
• Any discounts will be reflected in the pricing.
• There is no further discount on 2 or 3 show purchases for Concession holders.
• Note your selected shows in your diary and/or calendar.
• Tickets will be issued to your booking email address. Please store these carefully.
• Your post-booking subscription letter will contain useful information, please keep it.
