The 2026 AgriNous National Saleyards Conference
Rockhampton, Queensland | 28–30 July
The 2026 National Saleyards Conference, hosted by Saleyards Australia, will be held in Rockhampton - the Beef Capital of Australia and is the key national event for people working in and around saleyards across Australia.
Running across three days, the conference combines practical training, industry meetings, a full conference program, site tours and networking opportunities, giving delegates the chance to learn, connect and share ideas with others from across the country.
The program begins on Tuesday 28 July with pre-conference training, followed by a Managers Muster and the Saleyards Australia AGM at the Rockhampton Leagues Club. The afternoon will conclude with a saleyards tour at the Central Queensland Livestock Exchange (CQLX), finishing with a relaxed meet and greet evening.
The main conference will be held on Wednesday 29 July, featuring a full day of presentations, panels and discussions focused on the issues that matter most to the saleyards industry, including sustainability, animal welfare, digital systems and building strong regional communities. The day will wrap up with the Annual Saleyards Dinner at Hedricks Lane.
On Thursday 30 July, delegates will have the opportunity to take part in the 4700 Networking Tour, a full-day tour departing from and returning to the Rockhampton Leagues Club, offering further networking and a chance to see the region firsthand.
The conference is suited to saleyard owners, managers and staff, livestock agents, service providers, regulators, local government representatives, industry bodies and anyone with an interest in the future of saleyards in Australia.
đŸ‘‰ Registrations are now open.
Join us in Rockhampton and be part of the conversations shaping the future of Australia’s saleyards.
