A1.2/1 Lower Continuing Beginner German 2026 (Term 1)
About
This beginner course facilitated by German teacher Olivia is for beginner students who have started with learning German for about 2 terms (20 sessions) and wish to continue their learning journey to expand their basic language skills. The class is also open to new students with some prior knowledge. You will learn how to use everyday expressions and simple sentences; ask others simple questions and respond to their questions.We use Akademie Deutsch series as our main textbooks. We continue with chapter 5.2 of the A1 textbook. Textbooks are not included in the course fee and need to be purchased separately.
The course fees include $300 for 10 course sessions and a one-off $50 annual membership fee.
Das Zentrum membership is a pre-requisite for participating in courses for insurance purposes.
We need a minimum of 11 people to be able to run a class. Max number of students per class is 16. For planning purposes and to assess minimum student numbers, please RSVP and book by 30. January 2026. Course fees are not refundable unless the course gets cancelled.
