Hi my name Is Marsha, owner and teacher at POP-UP ART & Design.I am really excited to invite you to attend our new weekly art class that starts Wednesday 11th February 2026. Other after school sessions will hopefully pop up on other nights, as we move forward in the year.
Come and step into a world of colour, creativity, and imagination! Our pop-up art studio is a happy place where paint splashes are encouraged, ideas can be wild, and every child is an artist. With brushes, crayons, clay, and lots of curiosity, young creators explore drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media and so much more ! Our classes are fun, relaxed and hands-on, designed to spark imagination while gently teaching artistic skills along the way.
***We also love to do little games and activities that are just a little different to the normal art class such as wax seals, letter writing, card making, creating maps, making stickers, creating book illustrations , creating logos, and sometimes a little crafty as well***
Within each lesson, students observe art and discuss the features, talking about the colours used, the shapes, lines, textures. With guidance, and through step by step detailed instructions, students work on creating their own masterpiece inspired by different artists, reflecting their own personal style and individuality. Different mediums are used, depending on the style of art, including; watercolour paint, acrylic paint, markers, paint pens, pencil, collage, watercolour pencils, crayons, oil pastels and chalk pastels just to name a few!
Some children take their time with producing art, while others can move really quickly! Therefore, the number of creations they may bring home at the end of the term, will vary. Each child will be encouraged to move at their own pace, to create something really special!
Classes sizes are at maximum with 12 students!
Everything arty is supplied with a very special personalised art kit on arrival! Art smocks will also be supplied !
A lesson plan for the term will be sent home with the children in their first class! It's always great to know what we are up to each week.
The ART STUDIO SPACE IS LOCATED AT THE REAR OF THE F PROJECT, 224 TIMOR STREET WARRNAMBOOL. JUST ACROSS THE ROAD FROM SWINTONS IGA. The studio is similar to a regular classroom, allowing of room for students to find a comfortable working space. Street parking is available out the front of the studio, and you can also use the parking at the rear of the F project, just out the front of the art studio for quick drop off!
Please be on time for drop off and pick up, your child will wait just inside the door until you arrive for pick up :)
We encourage parents who would like to pop in and say hello, to drop in the last 15 minutes of class time, anytime to see your childs progress. This is a drop off class, where the parents can wait until we conclude classes.
Ages 6-9 yrs WEDNESDAY- 3:45PM-5PM
Ages 10-13yrs WEDNESDAY 5:15PM - 6:30PM
Please bring a drink bottle and snack if required.
