Summer Foundation recently released our report "Accessing the future: the lifetime case for universal housing design". Our research found that 86% of new homes will be occupied over a fifty year period by a household where someone has a physical disability. In total, new homes will host such a household 30% of the time.In this webinar we will explain our method and the implications of our findings for the Building Better Homes campaign for Livable Housing Design Standards. It is also an opportunity for Building Better Homes partners to get on the same page about what 2026 holds.
