Transport for NSW is hosting a Free Caravan Safety Check and Weigh In Event where you can have your trailer and tow vehicle weighed, and learn about calculating your caravan weights and gain some helpful tips for safer towing.

As part of your Inspection, TfNSW will measure the following weights of your Vehicle and Caravan:

• Actual Aggregate Trailer Mass (ATM)
• Actual Gross Trailer Mass (GTM)
• Actual Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM)
• Actual Ball Weight
• Actual Gross Combination Mass (GCM)

PRIVACY INFORMATION

As part of the registration process, we will ask you for some details about your caravan and tow vehicle. We use this information to provide a more efficeint service at the weighing day. No information will be shared or used other than for the purposes of delivering this program.

Scroll down to register by selecting your preferred session time. Each 1-hour time slot can accept up to 3 bookings. Each individual session, including combination assessment and inspection, weighing procedure and debrief, will take approximately 45 -60 minutes. Please arrive on time for your allocated time slot. You will be attended to in the order in which you arrive for your session.  Each booking is limited to one Caravan and Tow Vehicle combination only. If you have more than one vehicle and caravan combination to weigh you will need to make a separate booking for each one.
