AusNet Landcare Tree Planting Event at Phillip Island 7 Aug
About
Get your hands dirty and help plant native trees and shrubs at the Phillip Island Recreation Reserve in Cowes. This planting activity is part of a project funded through the AusNet Landcare Community Grants to protect and enhance endangered remnant vegetation to ensure long-term viability of Phillip Island's biodiversity.
No experience required, you will be supported by Landcare supervisors who provide a safety induction, demonstrate how to correctly plant native seedlings, and teach you about the importance of landcare in caring for our environment.
A tasty lunch is provided, along with all gloves, tools and equipment to undertake the tasks on the day.
This activity requires a moderate level of physical activity.
