AusNet Landcare Volunteering at Westgate Park Wed 2nd Sep
About
Westgate Park is an urban bushland area that has been transformed from a construction site to a vibrant native habitat by dedicated Landcare volunteers who have planted more than 300,000 native plants over the past 25 years.
Your efforts will contribute to this project by planting native trees and removing woody weeds to enhance biodiversity in this amazing park.
No experience required, you will be guided by experienced Landcare supervisors who will show you what to do, and tell you about the incredible transformation of Westgate Park and the native species that call the park home.
You will be provided with gloves, and all tools and equipment required to undertake the tasks on the day; as well as a catered lunch to enjoy with your team.
This activity involves a moderate level of physical activity.
Further information will be sent to you after booking.
