Growing Early Language (Single session)
About
A single interactive parent education session lasting up to 90 minutes (depending on number of participants) with home practice strategies given. There is a follow up with the Speech Pathologist by phone 2 weeks after the group session to see how strategies are going and provide guidance if needed.Topics Covered:
• Being responsive to your child’s communication attempts
• Strategies to support your child’s interaction and communication development
• Building your child’s vocab
• Sharing books
• Play and Daily routines
These session will be on 19th March 9.30-11.30am.
IMPORTANT: This service is intended for people who live in country WA. If you proceed you will be asked to provide personal information which will be used by WACHS and TryBooking, an external online booking system, for booking purposes only. ELIGIBILITY: Registration program is limited to families who have been referred by their CDS clinician. If you have not seen a CDS clinician, please do not continue. Contact the organiser for further support. WACHS reserves the right to cancel or or alter bookings
