A1.1 Absolute Beginner German 2026 (Term 1)
About
Are you interested in learning German? This beginner course facilitated by German teacher Ana is for absolute beginner students who have no prior knowledge of German and wish to achieve basic language skills for the purposes of communication, study, travel or enjoyment. You will learn how to use everyday expressions and simple sentences to be able to satisfy concrete needs; ask others simple questions and respond to their questions.We use Akademie Deutsch series as our main textbooks. Textbooks are not included in the course fee and need to be purchased separately.
The course fees include $240 for 8 course sessions and a one-off $50 annual membership fee. There are no sessions on Canberra Day 09. March and Easter Monday 30. March.
Das Zentrum membership is a pre-requisite for participating in courses for insurance purposes.
We need a minimum of 11 people to be able to run a class. Max number of students per class is 16.
For planning purposes and to assess minimum student numbers, please RSVP and book by 30. January 2026.
Course fees are not refundable unless the course gets cancelled.
