This webinar, presented by representatives from Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV), examines false fire alarms from an owners corporation perspective, explaining what constitutes a false alarm and why they are a common issue in residential buildings. The focus of the session is preventative strategies to assist with false alarm reduction techniques and will also touch on repeat activations, charging, compliance, maintenance obligations, record-keeping, thus helping OC managers and committees better manage risk, control costs and improve fire safety outcomes. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions/raise any issues that they may be currently dealing with.CPD: 1.5 Points
