Victorian Labor has led the charge on LGBTIQ+ rights and representation across the country - and that, in no small part, is because of the tireless work of the Victorian Rainbow Labor Network.
Coming up to Midsumma, we’re inviting you to celebrate 17 years of advocacy and activism from Rainbow Labor that brought us crucial policies like removing old criminal convictions for homosexual activity, same sex couple adoption, and fairer birth certificate practices for gender diverse Victorians.
We’ll be hosting a panel of speakers across the Labor movement to be announced shortly, speaking on Labor’s proud history of standing with and fighting for the LGBTQI+ community, and the road ahead.
It will also be a chance to network with other LGBTQI+ members and allies of the Labor Party.
A drink on entry, and canapés will be provided...purchase your own drinks.
