The Secret Burden presents, Up Skill ED. A 90 minute session educating the community on disordered eating and providing insights into the signs and symptoms of eating disorders and body image issues from lived experience voices.In this session you will watch The Secret Burden's exclusive short film on eating disorders, listen to TSB Co-Founder Ashlee Thomas chat about disordered eating, and engage in an open panel QNA with Alex Rodriguez (Dietitian and Eating Disorder Advocate), Brock McLean (Former AFL Player and Eating Disorder Advocate), Ashlee and Kendall Thomas (Co-Founders of The Secret Burden and Lived Experience Advocates).
Our Up Skill ED sessions were created with the intention to equip guests with the baseline knowledge of how to identify an eating disorder, how to support someone with an eating disorder and the most effective strategies to seek and partake in treatment for disordered eating, mental health challenges, and eating disorders.
