Step outside your regular routine and into the wild night air of the forest. Invoke the unpredictable and invite your primal nature to come alive as you tread over rock and under moonlight.
The Wild Man Full Moon Night Walk ritual connects you to the rawness of your sensory body and the elements around you. Being somewhere you wouldn't normally be, at a time you wouldn't normally be there is enlivening. Feel the dirt beneath your feet, hear the trickle of the creek, see the moonbeam through the trees and smell the expansive night air.
This experience takes you deep inside yourself as you reflect and connect on where you are right now as a man. It also brings you out into passion and playfulness as you adventure across a magical landscape with a band of brothers.
Being free and wild,

All make you a better man, father, partner and leader.
PRACTICAL DETAILS
This event involves walking in the bush at night for a total of approximately 2 hours with some breaks and other processes in between. The main walk is on an established track that has a decent decline on the way there and incline on the way back. At times the invitation will be to step off the well formed path and navigate slightly more hazardous areas. We will do this with care, consideration and conscious choice.
To attend you need to be willing to be responsible for yourself and comfortable with navigating your own limits/boundaries.
You need to have relative fitness and be physically able.
Jordan will guide the group in a way that considers everyone's capacity and keeps the men together for the experience.
TIMING: Gather at 6pm sharp, concluded by 9:30pm
LOCATION: Mt Jerusalem National Park - exact meeting spot provided in booking confirmation email.
THE WILD MAN RITUALS
This event is part of a series of events called The Wild Man Rituals. Each gathering is unique in its location and activity. The common theme is to get men outside, connecting with their wild nature, and drawing nourishment and wisdom from time on the land amongst the elements.
These events mix the well known benefits of a men's group/circle with simple and ancient earth based ritual practices that humans have conducted for tens of thousands of years.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR - JORDAN HACKETT
Jordan is a sex & relationship educator and men’s mentor with
a decade of experience in rites of initation and private practice.
He teaches the skills and awareness to create fulfilling intimate, erotic relationship with yourself and your partner.
Jordan is also a poet, lover of the wild earth and a student of animistic ritual - these parts of his personal exploration and life continue to contribute to the cultivation of The Wild Man spaces.
"Over the years a key part of my personal growth and nourishment has been found out on the land, in communion with the earth and waters. Much of the educational work and mentoring I offer has been done online, however increasingly I have wanted to combine my deep love of and experience conducting earth based ritual with the knowledge and skills I teach about relationships and sexual development.
