The Dravidian Pathway is an online webinar that explores the critical role of reading rooms as a vehicle of politicisation within the Dravidian Movement.Historically, reading rooms were not just spaces for literacy but powerful sites of collective learning, debate, and political consciousness. This session examines how these spaces contributed to shaping anti-caste thought, rationalism, and mass mobilisation in the Dravidian movement.
The webinar will be led by Vignesh Rajahmani, a political scientist, researcher, and author, who will contextualise reading rooms within broader socio-political struggles and their continuing relevance today.
This discussion is especially relevant for students, researchers, activists, and anyone interested in social justice movements, political education, and Dravidian thought.
