Whether you're social, curious about sailing, or ready to join a crew, there’s a place for you at our friendly waterfront community Club!A Day of Discovery at Hobsons Bay Yacht Club will take place on Saturday 14 February 2026, from 11am to 4pm.
The day is designed to showcase HBYC and our unique facilities, share what club life is really like from our members' perspective, and offer short on-water sailing experiences. These sailing sessions are available to HBYC Social Members interested in learning to sail, as well as community members aged 18+ who may be interested in learning to crew.
You're welcome to book a session to learn more about the Club, take a sail with one of our experienced Skippers and crew, or do both.
Tickets are FREE, however bookings are essential (one session per person or group). Groups of more than four may be allocated across multiple yachts.
In the event of unsuitable weather, participants will be contacted the day prior with alternative arrangements.
