College Parenting Seminar|Caitlin Humphrys
This engaging and practical session will explore why comprehensive Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) is so important for young people today. The evening will unpack the foundations of respectful relationships and consent, how RSE is taught within a values-based, evidence-informed framework, and the simple, effective ways Parents and Caregivers can support their child—at home, at school, and online.
Parents and Caregivers can expect clear guidance, real-world examples, and practical take-home strategies that can be applied immediately.
About the Presenter
Caitlin Humphrys is a Catholic Relationships and Sexuality Education consultant committed to supporting schools and organisations to foster environments where respect, consent, and the dignity of every community member can flourish. Drawing on extensive experience in education and Catholic ministry, Caitlin blends faith-based values with practical, evidence-based approaches to teaching and modelling healthy relationships. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Counselling and a Master of Theological Studies (Bioethics) from Australian Catholic University.
This is a valuable opportunity for Parents and Caregivers to deepen their understanding of RSE and feel confident in supporting their child’s learning and wellbeing during their school years and beyond.

- This seminar is funded by the Queensland Catholic Education Commission (QCEC) to support Consent and Respectful Relationships Education in Religious Institute Schools.
