Workshop 1: Thriving in your first yearIn this introductory workshop, 'Thriving in your first year', you’ll learn how to get the most out of the program as a Career Start mentor. The theme of the day is all about belonging and support. Through practical sessions, you’ll explore ways to strengthen your collaborative partnership with your early career teacher and reflect on your role in supporting their development.
Early Career teachers have been invited to attend for the whole day, and you are invited to join them from 11.30am to attend a catered lunch and afternoon session together.
