About

Our annual weekend away on the south coast deepening our love of Jesus, and growing greater gospel friendships at Salt. 5pm Away is a chance to build community and go all-in on the Bible together, with more time and opportunity than we have on a Sunday. It's also a chance to make memories and have fun together, with the bush, beach, campfires, coffee and dnm's on our doorstep. We always come back from these weekends away with greater vision and grit for the Kingdom, and closer as brothers and sisters. DON'T MISS IT !!

FAQ:
- Accomodation: Cabins and camping (+ $20pp) are available. Our team will do our best to make sure you're comfortable with your cabin crew. If you choose to camp, it will be up to you to organise your people and gear! Campsites are unallocated.
- Location: Burrill Pines is a favourite spot for many 5pm crew! If you've never been, its a bush camping site right on the beach south of Ulladulla, with a conference centre attached and a bunch of kangaroos and campfires and gumtrees. So there's cabins we will stay in as part of that, but ALSO this year a camping option for all our fresh air camping peeps. It's another $20 to grab your own patch of grass, spots are unallocated, so we can all camp together.
- Food and Dietaries: We will have a menu refresh at 5pm Away this year, we've heard your feedback! We are aware of our members' dietaries, but if you'd like to be in touch with specifics, contact phoebe@saltchurch.info
- Guest Speaker: we've got someone coming in just to give us some ripper talks, more on that soon!
- We will release a "things to bring" list closer to the date
- What are we actually doing?! We are: learning, reading, campfire-ing, swimming, worshipping, caffeinating, eating, sunrise-ing, mucking around, praying, chatting... stuff like that. Timetable will come closer.
