Menslink Big Night Out 2026
Join us on Friday March 13th for the 8th Big Night Out! This year we’re shifting the spotlight to the celebration of growth, mentorship, and real-world success. We invite you to join us for an evening of powerful stories, entertainment, food, drink and laughter; all in the name of raising money for an incredible cause with real impact in the Canberra community.
The event will commence at 6pm at Hotel Realm, with roaming canapes and live music in the lobby. In honor of our 10th year hosting Canberra's finest, the theme will be cocktail attire. Looking forward to seeing all you looking your sharpest on the night.

'Xavier Duffy of ACT Landscape Constructions, ACT Home Elevations & Xav Builds podcasts, will share his personal journey and how Menslink Counselling helped him to navigate the challenges he faced during his school years. The stigma for most young guys, in particular regarding counselling, is ever present and at times overpowering, causing young guys not to speak. Young men have been conditioned to think it's weak to speak.
Nights like our Big Night Out reinforce the positive aspects and enable people like Xavier to share their lived experience, growth, and success while highlighting that it's okay to speak to someone.
Menslink Counselling is something Xav is very keen to talk about and is particularly interested in young men that enter apprenticeships in the trades, where the statistics indicate support is needed now more than ever. We strive to not fix the problem, but to listen and suggest pathways forward.
This ties in with Menslink's mission of supporting and empowering young men through, counselling, mentoring and education
Our annual Big Night Out is an ideal way to share our success and showcase the amazing work of our no cost counselling support to young men. Now in our 24th year and committed to continuing to offer our services long into the future.'
