Forest Walkers 2026 - Term 1
About
We would love to welcome you on our outdoor adventures!Wild Kindling offers a rich, nature-immersed environment where children come together to play, explore, take risks, and connect deeply with the natural world. Through guided exploration, ecological activities, storytelling, and seasonal observation, children develop meaningful relationships with nature while building essential life skills.
Both our Woodland Walkers and Forest Walkers programs provide a diverse range of experiences, including nature-based learning, child-led forest play, journaling, team-building challenges, and more. Rooted in the rhythms of the earth, our programs support children’s cognitive, emotional, and social development.
Throughout the term, each session follows the nature-based learning cycle and incorporates the 12 Core Routines of Nature. New themes are introduced weekly, while familiar skills and concepts are revisited and deepened over time. This is a drop-off program, so parents are not required to stay.
Our site features a pine forest, creek play areas, mystical gardens, a covered oasis, and rolling hills—inviting curiosity, movement, and active exploration throughout the day.
