Townsville Community Law with support from The Townsville District Law Association (TDLA), warmly invites TDLA members to a Volunteer Welcome and Networking event at Townsville Community Law’s new office.Townsville Community Law’s evening legal clinics play a vital role in improving access to justice for vulnerable members of our community and rely on the ongoing support of local practitioners. Last year alone, volunteer practitioners contributed over 500 hours of pro bono legal assistance, directly improving outcomes for people who would otherwise be unable to obtain legal help.
This event is an opportunity to reconnect with the local legal community as we commence the new year, learn more about Townsville Community Law’s pro bono services, and explore opportunities to become involved.
Members of the profession will be joined by JCU Law students, making the evening a valuable networking opportunity across all stages of the legal profession.
Drinks and light catering will be provided.
